Dorothy and Damon[]
Damon is the older brother to Dorothy by ten years. Damon loves, adores and protective of Dorothy. She has the same feelings towards Damon. She was upset when he had left for the Confederate Army, leaving her alone. She was happy when she saw him return, and was relieved that he is back, but that soon fell, when he began talking to Katherine, the house-guest.
