Born Riley Matthew Hadsen on August 20th 1933 to Kimberly and David Hadsen in Canberra, Australia. He has two older brothers; Martyn and Shayne as well as a younger brother; Coburn.
At 19 years old, he married his high school sweetheart; Juliette. When he was 23, Juliette gave birth to a daughter; Isla Davina Hadsen.
Upon his twenty-seven birthday, Riley was taken by an unseen force. Over sixty years later, he was returned with many others taken from various decades, at the foot of Mt. Rainier.
Six months after he was released, Riley met his now adult daughter but she rejected him believing that he chose to leave her willingly after telling her mother died five years before with a broken heart.
Heartbroken, he returned to Washington to be monitored by National Threat Assessment Command (NTAC).
A year after his return, Riley was one of many to become sick and be quarantined, though he was one of the first to become sick, Riley’s body refused to give into what was making him sick. It was later discovered that the sickness was because of a promicin inhibator that the 4400 had been taking unknowingly, he was later healed by Shawn Farrell.
He stopped taking anything that was given to him by NTAC after that point. Settling into the 4400 centre, Riley began to get things in order to start his life over again.
