Kathryn Moody (b. January 9, 1980) is a Scottish witch of pure-blood descent. She is the daughter of considered most powerful Auror, Alastor Moody. She started Hogwarts in 1991 and was sorted into Ravenclaw. Her father was to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts in 1994, but was kidnapped by Barty Crouch Jr, and she was forced to keep a secret about the sitiuation, being imperied.
Barty's imperious crouch was defeated when he was caught by Professors Dumbledore, McGonagall, Snape and Harry Potter. She has fought in several battles including the Battle of the Department of Mysteries in 1996 and in the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998. She had lost her father during the Battle of the Seven Potters in 1997, who was killed by Lord Voldemort.
Early Life
Kathryn was born into the pure-blood wizarding Moody family, to Alastor Moody. The Moody family is descendants of a long line of renowned Aurors in the employ of the Ministry of Magic. Her father's tough and suspicious nature taught her to be constant vigilance about her surroundings. She inherited the trait from her father.
She was born in Scotland, although the Ministry of Magic did not know this.
